Re: EVP's
Okay, I finally listened to them the 'gunshot' one definitely sounded to me like something tapped the mic. (It might not have been that, but it is just too common of a thing to say that it was something else.)
In the scream/noooo EVP I had to check it a little closer - there is a squeal at the beginning (I think that is a hinge) then the scream, talking and the breathless 'nooooo'. Not being there, and not having any real 'feel' for where you were, I would say both noises sound like a cat with something on it's mind. (Once again, I could be wrong - but that was my first impression)

Okay, listened again at home w/ Audacity - and the scream still sounds like a cat, but the noooo seems a little tougher to peg - its not quite as high as the cat 'yowl' that I first thought - I might run it by our EVP guy and see what he thinks.

Re: EVP's
So did you run by your EVP guy? I'm interested as to what he has to say.
Also I was wondering if anyone else had any other evidence they wouldn't mind sharing with me so I can have a look?

I did email him, but I haven't heard back from him - he's in the middle of 12 per/10 day shift, he probably won't have time to look until later this week.

His answer was a helpful and resounding 'maybe' - He says that the 'scream' portion just sounds too much like an old heavy door to be called anything else, without more to go on. His reaction to the 'noooo' portion was a little bit better, he said it was 'odd'. (I would like to add that he said "Speed it up 30% and it sounds like a cat.) To make his REALLY long and almost impossible to understand analysis into something that fits on less than 2 pages I'll sum it up: Nice audio, understandable single word, not exactly a response to a direct question, other possible (even if unlikely) sources, not an articulate phrase: Basically, he said to call it a 'possible' EVP.

No problem...I told him that we have to make sure he keeps sharp, so he'll be able to analyze the HUGE amounts of evidence that we will be picking up ourselves.

Re: EVP's
Hey Aesalon, would you mind sending them to everclash for me?
I don't feel like looking for them right now. I just jumped on to check my email. Thanks in advance.
