Why call it evidence ?
I often wonder why the word evidence populates so many paranormal web sites, I think it is a failry strong word to use for much of the content contained in such forums. Surely if one was to post something in the evidence forum they are making a statement by deciding that the footage or whatever is worthy to be classed as evidence and not unknown. Obviously most people put stuff up there to be discussed etc., I just think it's the wrong word. This comment is not directed at this site BTW, far from it, there just seems to be a template for a paranormal site and I question it.
that's something that just make me think TBH.

You know I feel the same way. I think that a better term could be data. You go into a place and collect information. The sum of the data should give you a clue as to the type of activity. Just something about the word "evidence" almost makes it seem like people feel it's evidence of a ghost. Some how using that words, to me, seems to indicate that the investigator already has an opinion that there is "ghost" activity. I do use the word more often than I would like.
