Well, y'all may remember that I will be getting married in October (or not, that's not really the point.)

anyway, We are heading to Florida for the honeymoon and I have actually talked Jen into spending 2 days in St. Augustine - just enough time to do a few touristy 'Ghost Tours' and see the infamous lighthouse.

If anyone of y'all have done one of these and have any recommendations on "Definitely Go" or "Stay Away From" Ghost tours I would appreciate it.

it is said that late at night the custodians will hear noises like foot steps or some papers getting moved around on desks or anything like that. they even see an apirition of a man dressed in a suit who walks the long halls of the building. they think some of the activity is the old workers who never wanted to leave!

Just wondering...

Have any of you ever used a K2 meter on an investigation?

When I saw it being used on "Ghost Hunters", I sort of rolled my eyes at it and thought it was a stupid piece of equipment. But I actually got to use one on our investigation this past weekend, and I had some seriously amazing results with it that are making me change my opinion of it.

Just wondering if any of you have ever had any experiences with one.

I often wonder why the word evidence populates so many paranormal web sites, I think it is a failry strong word to use for much of the content contained in such forums. Surely if one was to post something in the evidence forum they are making a statement by deciding that the footage or whatever is worthy to be classed as evidence and not unknown. This was caught in the famous cell block 12. There were people around but no one said anything this loud the entire time. If it was me or my son i would have said something. Its also too out of place and sad sounding. We think that it might be a cell door closing, but after going over the 40 minutes of evidence again we did NOT catch even one door, making any sound opening or closing. We have a good idea of what the ghost (or door) is saying.

This game has been pushed back at least twice now, and won't be released until September of '08. However, it looks to be amazing! I have been looking forward to it for quite some time now. I'd absolutely love to check out that place someday! I wonder how hard it is to get in as a paranormal investigation team? From the footage that TAPs had captured there, I'd be anxious to see for myself if we'd be able to collect similar evidence. Here is the section on their official website about the ghost stories and more info on who died there. I think just investigating a lighthouse in general would be a unique experience.

Alcoholic or nonalcoholic -- What do your taste buds desire?

I myself am a coffee addict. I don't, however, like straight black coffee. Even creamer isn't good (especially since it's so bad for you). I like flavor in my coffee, like french vanilla or mocha.

I also drink a lot of water. Water is my default drink to go with meals, even while at a restaurant. I prefer flavored water most though. Water is good for the skin. I even once kind of experimented with that awhile ...

Have to say that I love my EMF meters, I have a number of makes and models. I did notice that there were not many being used in Waverly, Kurt gave me his Trifield natural EMF meter, for an hour. I was surprized not to see more.

the first one I bought was the Callsensor model, I never liked it TBH the little remote wired reader and you can never read them.

Digital ones are great but I still like my Trifield units.
