Overall, which MMO is your favorite?
What is your favorite MMO game?
Alright other MMO fans -- currently, which is your favorite? Why?
Tony and I played WoW, but it's old now. Need something neeeww! Still, the leveling process was entertaining and the game itself is pretty well made (in comparison). So, I still have to cast my vote for WoW.

Re: What is your favorite MMO game?
My "Other" vote is for Kingdom Of Loathing.
Ok, it's not *really* an MMO, but you CAN do player vs. player fighting.
I don't get into MMOs to be honest. I prefer playing with myself.
Er...so to speak.

For me, I cannot play a game for very long if I am alone...it gets too boring. If my friends stopped playing wow, I'd stop and never look back. But it's alot of fun to play co-op with someone.

I never got into Command and Conquer much it's a cool game though. I definitely can't wait for Starcraft II!
I still play WoW because I can't seem to find anything to take it's place heh.. It doesn't seem to be as exciting as it used to be though.
Actually my account/character are up for sale at the moment.. I play for free on a private server now www.wowscape.net

Re: What is your favorite MMO game?
The thing that I am liking about LOTRO is that it has two polar opposites in comparison to other MMOs, and that is: 1, there are so many nice people (I don't think I've run into as many friendly people in an MMO as this since Star Wars Galaxies), and 2, the maturity level of the players far surpasses those of say, WoW. It's much more of a tight-knit community it feels like, with those passionate about the books and storyline. It goes beyond just playing a game. Role playing too is also a big factor. Although RPing servers are on pretty much any MMO, it usually varies in its popularity. However, people take time to just relax and role play with others, which really is a whole side-game in itself and adds to the enjoyment.
I guess it's more of a girly MMO or one for any Tolkien fan.

Re: What is your favorite MMO game?
i voted for DDO. fun group based quests where u actualy have to work together to survive. the intergrated voice chat is better than my typing lol.
LOTR really is a cool game but at teh time when it came out me and the wife had our son so i wasnt able to play much and got sick of the whole MMO thing. i get a craving for it now and again so i'll just pay 14 bucks and play something on my days off while everyone sleeps.
I miss SWG sometimes but teh NGE just totaly fucked up the game for me and i worked so friggin hard to get jedi grinding out professions. the afk musicans and dancers with macroed pleas for tips drove me nutts but i missed that too lol..... ahh crap i might pay a visit there next week.
Its bit too widely known but pirates of the carribian online game is out and its free from disney.. i'll be honest i love running around blowing up ships its easy and i imagine its more fun with other people in yer boat.

Re: What is your favorite MMO game?
Is DDO good? I remember being interested when it came out, but never tried it. WoW just occupies my alloted MMO time. I loved playing D&D when i was younger, rpg's are so much fun...unless someone gets carried away...then, not so much.

Dude, I know exactly what you mean by how they messed up SWG. lol! It's too bad. (I loved my Wookie Creature Handler back in the day!)
Aww, well actually Tony just sold his WoW account and I was planning on doing the same for mine. I cancelled my subscription a little while back ago, so I haven't played in a long time. I think I'll just stick to Lord of the Rings Online.
