Possessed Coffee Machine
As Tony put it, "I think we have an intelligent, anti-coffee poltergeist."
K, so here's the deal! Our coffee machine has 2 buttons for the time - one of the hour and one for the minute. When you click them, it only makes the time go up (so, in other words, there's no direct way to make the time go down without circling through the time upwards). Last night, the time got set to one hour behind what it really was. That means it would have had to cycle through all the hours until it go to just before the hour of the real time. Tony fixed it though to be the correct time before going to bed. He also set the coffee machine to automatically start in the morning, like he always does. However, this morning it didn't make coffee. Instead, it was said to have started at 7:00 PM. He had set the timer for 6:10 AM. Haunted coffee machine!? I think so!
I'd call this one genuiiine poltergeist activity here, folks.

Re: Possessed Coffee Machine
You are dealing with something FAR beyond the level of a simple poltergeist here, at the very least it is an inhuman spirit that despises all living things...there is nothing more cruel than depriving people of the elixer of life...

Yeah, I know, right!?? That's so what I said. I believe it to be a demon of the most cruel kind. I'm thinking of having our apartment blessed. Or, you know, at least throw some holy water at the coffee machine. Think that'll do the trick!

...maybe use the holy water to make the coffee??

Ooooh! That would be *awesome* for ghost investigations! It would keep you awake, and you could throw it in the face of any vampires you run across!
Sign me up, too!
At first, I thought this thread was going to be about this:

The quote "You've just heard A Genuine Spirit Voice from a possessed coffee pot." really sells it for me.

Re: Possessed Coffee Machine
lol That is the craziest thing I have ever seen. Why!?
Oh yeah, coffee made from holy water would pretty much leave me vampire-proof. I gotta say, why didn't anyone think of drinking holy water before?? That is just amazing! The blood running through your veins would basically be immune to anything supernatural. Er, at least, that's what they'd say in the movies!
Well, I think our coffee machine has been pretty quiet since then, so I think we're doin' okay.
