EVP at my grandma's house

Anyways me and my cousins thought we would try to talk to this spirit to see if it was actually there. my cousin thought it would be a good idea to act like we were in school to see if the spirit would answer the questions we asked. we had to different voice recorders going at the same time. there was a map in the basement at their house and we were using that for the questions. my cousin pointed to the country Algeria. she said "whats this country?" and i replied algeria. and in faint voice in the distant BOTH of the recorders picked a voice say "algeria" as we continued our investigation, i could hear heavy breathing on the recorders as we were talking. but im still evaluating what that is. then out of no where it sounds as if it is right by my recorder a voice says "SHUT UP ZACH J" but none of us are named zach and we were the only two in the basement. if i record anymore evps i will post them but this is all for now. please comment and reply let me know what you think. give me some tips on evps. ill take anything

That sounds interesting. Could it be that whoever said "Shut up Zack J" was talking to another spirit in the room, telling them to shut up so the person talking could better communicate with you?

It would be great if you could post this up, or any future ones you record. I'd love to hear them.

i have done some analysis on the evp and it sounds like there is more to it so think you are right. i did some research on the house and it turns out there was a previous doctor who lived there and he abandoned his family and he never came back. he a daughter and a wife. so i dont know if she was telling him to shut up so she could participate in this schooling activity or not.
