A few things that I have experienced
I have never had anything truly large or exciting happen to me in the ways of the paranormal, but have experienced a few tinier things throughout my life. Beyond the stories that I could tell you about catching our EVPs (which seems pointless, as you can listen to them yourself), there have only been about 2 or 3 things that have really ever happened to me.
The first took place when, I'm guessing I was about 12 or 13. It was night and I was asleep in bed back at my parent's house. Something had woken me though, and at first I wasn't sure why. I sat up and then realized I heard music playing. It was coming from our keyboard downstairs. What was odd, was that the music being played sounded beautiful, and no one in my family is able to play (the keyboard was mine, and even I knew only how to play the most simplistic of music back then from taking a summer of lessons). To make sure I wasn't dreaming, I remember running my hand across my wall next to my bed. It was ridged and had a texture to it that I could actually feel. I knew this was no dream. I then got up the courage to open my door, severely confused. The music got louder once my door was open. Scared, I knocked on my parents door right next to mine. Once my mom came out, the music had ceased. I was so frustrated I remember, because I knew that I hadn't been dreaming, but of course my mom wouldn't listen. Of course it was a dream! A keyboard playing by itself? Out of the question.
Another thing that happened to me at my parent's house was during one evening when I was sitting at the computer in the basement (at the opposite end of the room where the keyboard was in). My parents were in the adjacent room watching a movie together. I was just doing my thing, then all of a sudden I felt my chair get violently pushed. It rocked me with such force that I knew I couldn't have mistaken it for just myself moving it. I turned around in a flash, expecting to see my brother, but no one was there. Surprised, I didn't understand how he could have done it and gotten away so quickly. I got up, walked to the other end of the room, looked up the stairs, and, when I saw nothing, I asked my parents where my brother was. They told me that he was gone at a friend's house.
My final experience is sort of just something that was a little odd. I was at home sick one evening after my parents had gotten home from work. I was in my room upstairs just laying in bed. My dad had gone down to the basement in our wreck/laundry room for something. From upstairs, I heard him yell, "Michele! (my mom's name) I'm in here!" When she didn't answer (she was upstairs at the time), he said, "Turn the lights back on." My mom then answered, "I'm upstairs!" He said that the light switch was still in the on position but somehow all the lights just turned off.
I don't believe that my parent's house is haunted, despite the fact that I experienced all 3 of those things there. It seemed more to me like spirits might have been passing through from time to time. There was never any constant activity and nothing beyond any of that.

Re: A few things that I have experienced
Wow. I just read that and my phone went off while i was and it scared me so badly that im shaking as we speak. I think I would bless that house and rid it of any spirits because even tho it was only 3 times and u say it was minor, spirits aren't always constant. they may just watch u and for the thrill rarely do minor things

that is pretty creepy, especially the chair thing. with the lights, it could have just burnt out. but that is pretty weird
