Hello, my name is Donn and I'm the Member Relations Manager for the DuPage Paranormal Society.

Hi Donn, how are you? A Member Relations Manager? That sounds like a useful position to have for a team - may have to add something like that myself to our team in the future.

Perhaps our paranormal teams could join forces sometime?

Yeah we have some pretty unique positions. Were up to 13 members with plenty more wanting to join. We took advantage of the fact that the team management works in the business and computer field. We've developed a pretty good structure that handles all the administration work. This allows members the best experience without having to fret over the details. We have a Group Admin., Member Relations, Tech/R&D (we've been making our own I/R illuminators), Client Investigations Manager and Trainer.

Oh yeah, if you have any questions on how to get and what to get regarding equipment let me know or ask some of our Tech. guy's in our forum. If you guy's are willing you could stop by one of our training meetings and check out some of the equipment and what not. We'll be pretty busy 'till through the end of the month though.

Oh, wow. With that amount of members and with people who seem already suited for those positions, seems absolutely perfect. That would be great for the team, to have people doing those jobs, like you said, thus removing any added stress to the other team members. A specific person that trains people would be a good thing to have too. What is your training process like? Is it very detailed and hands-on? Currently, I'm in charge of training, though I have yet to actually train anyone yet so I was unsure how to go about that.

It really changes. Once we get a new peice of equipment we need to play around with it and make sure others know how to use it. Since we are always getting new toys and working on new investigation methods it was getting a little crazy. So we decided to create a Trainer position. We're still working on developing the training process.

I can imagine. New toys are a good thing though.
