Sweet deal!!!! Do you have to convert a PC into a DVR?
Re: 4 WIRELESS NIGHTVISION 2.4 GHz CAMERA SYSTEM w/ USB DVR
it doesn't look like it. If it does i fix PC's on the side i can convert a desktop to do it.

Four Camera power adapters (100-240V input, DC 12V output, 200mA)
Wireless video receiver with remote control
Video receiver antenna
Receiver power adapter (100-240V input, DC 12V output, 500mA)
USB Cable
Software CD with DVR on PC to view and record video on computer (compatible with Windows XP)
Retail gift box
I wasn't sure what this line meant. It looks like that big box in the middle is a reciever. Going wireless can be real handy!!! Especially in residential investigations. It may be a problem in areas where the structure could mess with the signal. But common....that really is a great deal! and it comes in a "retail gift box"! Sweet!

Awesome!! Very cool, Scott! This will definitely come in handy! Great deal! Way to go!
Re: 4 WIRELESS NIGHTVISION 2.4 GHz CAMERA SYSTEM w/ USB DVR
that looks cool it appears to me ,that it means you'd need the software on a pc to record the video. "DVR on PC" might be the name of the software?

Looks like a nice system alright. However I have issues with wireless equipment, I don’t like it TBH. I think you would be much better off with a hard wired system. I think the wireless signals can add too much noise to an investigation area (plus I was talking to someone recently who went on a joint investigation, and the two wireless systems gave each other hell. So they are bad for joint investigations, unless the coordination is perfect.)
IMO you could give life to an old PC, pop in one of those 4 channels PCI cards (about €20 on e bay) also pick up some cameras for about €20 each and hard wire the units. The old PC with the free software will bring a lot to the table, its hard drives, network card, internet access, USB ports, mouse etc are all features that come in handy.
With screened co-ax cable you would add very little interference to the investigation area (with these cables carrying signals, I can just about get a reading on a summation EMF meter, so the interference is minimal)
Terminating the cables is easy too.

Using all the gear that the guys in TAPs have is not always the way to go (once again IMO) at the end of the day nothing has ever really been proven on an investigation with all that equipment, getting the most out of what you understand and can use is something that I think is very necessary, I'd love to know more about my camera for example, but the drive to keep up with guys funded on a TV show can have a negative effect.
I personally have yet to capture anything over an above one suspect EVP, but I’ll keep on trying but I won’t go down the road of trying to copy TAPs, that’s not meant as an insult to any team or TAPs, I’m sure everyone can respect someone’s need to do their own thing while not judging someone at the same time..
But at the end of the day that is just my opinion. we have one wireless camera, but we have yet to use it as there is never internet access in any of the places we investigate and the reception is better on the hard wired units.
