Guys, check this out. This person added me to their friends on I Am Haunted and they just happen to be the host of their own home made show revealing evidence that has been tampered with or fabricated. It's pretty informative. He even explains how the picture in the Gettysburg hotel could have been moved on Ghost Hunters (when Grand had gone to bed).

Personally, I have a hard time believing that TAPS would fake evidence, you know? I *could* see the show's production/editing company doing something like that, though. I would just like to think that TAPS would pull out at any sign of anyone involved in production of the show faking or embellishing evidence.
With photo/audio/video editing software being SO advanced now, it's almost impossible to tell real evidence from fake evidence. Unless a piece of evidence was caught by someone I know and completely trust, there is always a part of me that's skeptical about it.

He does a pretty good job of demonstrating possible frauds - but on the other hand just because something CAN be faked, doesn't mean that it was.

Completely feel the same way, Kurt - one of the reasons that I felt the need to gather evidence myself, I realized that anytime that I saw or heard someone else's stuff, I couldn't shake the 'was that really what happened?' feeling.

Exactly, Aesalon. I have a HUGE folder of cool EVPs that I found on the internet, and as much as I love them, I always find myself wondering if they are legit or not.
And I have seen some *painfully* obvious Photoshop jobs used as "evidence" by some groups.
It's very disheartening.

Actually, in Episode 2 of Haunted Hoax, the one about TAPs with the moving picture, he isn't saying that TAPs faked it -- he was actually trying to prove how a hotel owner would want to fake evidence and therefore be called haunted to fill some more rooms, yah know? So, he was thinking that TAPs got played there, basically.

But yeah, that's definitely true! With all the advanced programs everyone has nowadays, it's really simple to produce false evidence. And, like you said, unless it's something you yourself were able to capture, it's so hard to believe anything else, just because of all the frauds out there.
